morning babble / Monday 12-13-21
This is the scribble that leads to the babble. Sometimes it gets tidied up, but sometimes . . . not so much. When all else fails – go watch the video!
I ran – #347
Podcast Learning via Ryan Holiday: Catherine Baab-Muguira, the author of Poe for Your Problems: Uncommon Advice from History’s Least Likely Self-Help Guru
Really enjoyed their chat – how life was back then / how it was stressed that not all geniuses go crazy, just like how all the crazies aren’t geniuses / Holiday pointed out how Marcus Aurelius had 11 children and lost 8 of them. Baltimore Ravens . . . to some – obviously names after a poet’s famous poem. Not too many know that though.
