Day 2 of my 10k every day for June – Did it. Again.
By the way, yesterday’s video. The shot of me running. I know – it didn’t look good.
You were afraid I was going to fall or something, huh. I took that shot – sped it up, slowed it down (you can go slower?).
I follow this woman – The Fashion Jogger – she looks good running. Well, she is attractive. But – she looks cool running. (clip) See. Not me. Don’t worry I won’t show it again.

New Music Friday:
I put together a Spotify playlist of the songs that I talked about and thought about today for New Music Friday. Click here for that!
- Foo Fighters dropped their new album in its entirety – called But Here We Are. Over 48 minutes of new music spread out over 10 songs. We’ve already heard “Rescued” and “Under You” and yes, we can go off and hear the rest, but the one that they seem to be pushing at least on Spotify is “The Glass” (clip)
- New Norah Jones, well, not new new. It’s a Deluxe version of her 5th studio album from 2012 called Little Broken Hearts – the Deluxe Edition features an expanded 31-track set curated by Jones herself along with rare bonus tracks, alternate versions, remixes, and a previously unreleased live version of the album. Get it in vinyl – you’ll get 3 circles to spin. I don’t have a clip to play from this album, but one of my favorite songs that Norah Jones did was covering the Soundgarden song – “Black Hole Sun” during the tribute concert for Chris Cornell (clip)
- Metro Boomin has put together quite the line-up for the soundtrack to Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. It’s like a team of Hip-Hop Avengers – you get Future, Don Toliver, 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert, A$AP Rocky, James Blake, Wizkid, – the list goes on! (clip)
- Here’s some quick hits on new music: New Ben Harper album is out – you get the whole thing – Wide Open Light // One of my favorites – Saba – he has released another single called “hue_man nature” // and finally, Machine Gun Kelly – after dabbling in the genre of rock – he’s back rapping in his new single “Pressure” (clip)
