(“Man in the Box”)

From the late 1900s, Classical Grunge from one of the pioneers of that genre

One of those dudes released a new album this past Friday

(Missed Music Monday opener)

The most recent Alice in Chains album was released in 2018. Since then, one of the band’s founders – Jerry Cantrell has issued two of his solo albums – a “cheery” Brighten album in 2021 and today we have his 4th overall and a darker one called – I Want Blood

(clip)

A whole lot of classic rock guitar harmonies happening on this album. Some songs to listen for? I like how the album kicks off with “Vilified” as well as “Held Your Tongue”. The song “Echoes of Laughter” has a definite grungy sound to it. Check it out for yourself – Jerry Cantrell does NOT disappoint.

Please subscribe on YouTube and spread the Babble wherever you can – Thank you!

Tune in tomorrow for: Quote of the Day!
