From one of my favorite albums in 2021 – song is “Freedom” / Album is We Are / Artist is Jon Batiste / He came out with a new album – just a couple weeks ago.

Jon Batiste has been everywhere. Served as the house band on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. (clip) Composed music & won Grammys for his work on the Pixar film – Soul (clip) and now he reinterprets the Beethoven classics on his new album ‘Beethoven Blues’ (clip)
Oh, and he’s going to sing the National Anthem for this upcoming Super Bowl. Busy man – go listen to any of his stuff.
